After almost a decade working in the field of applied research with primarily government clients (except for a great experience working within the private-sector in Spain), her career took an unexpected turn when she took on the role of partner and talent management director at two optometry practices.

 

Always the creator and change agent, her new role fit her perfectly. She quickly adapted scientific research to realistic and profitable applications for the businesses. This included an on-boarding and training process that resulted in lower turnover rates and immediately boosting product sales by 35%.

 

Empowered with a unique perspective in combining research and management, she was determined to pass on this knowledge to other business owners, and so began IRIS Consulting,

 

When she is not managing her professional roles, she is an amateur photographer, an avid traveler, and an occasional blogger. When incognito she speaks Spanish and French and is currently learning American Sign Language. She resides in Winter Garden, FL with her husband and their two pets, Donatello (the turtle) and Calypso (the Shiba Inu); due to her surprising animal training skills she secretly considers herself a pet whisperer.
